Rental Policies

Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. Bookings may require age verification and/or confirmation that all restrictions have been met before final reservation confirmation.

We accept personal checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, most major credit cards, and signature debit cards.

For online reservations, 25% of the total rental (including rent, fees, tax, security deposit, and optional insurance) is due with a credit card at time of booking.  For reservations made with our rental manager, deposit is due within 7 days of booking. Deposits not paid within 7 days will result in reservation cancellation. Full payment is due within 30 days of check in date.

Once you have booked and made full payment for your reservation, we will email a welcome letter that contains a numeric door passcode approximately 5 days in advance of your rental.  The welcome letter contains directions to the resort, parking information, resort rules, and check-in / check-out instructions.   However, if you have any questions that we can help you with, don’t hesitate to email us or call.

After you have checked out and we confirm there is no damage to the unit, we will refund your deposit. If your deposit was originally paid with a check, it will be returned by mail through a check. If your deposit was originally paid with a credit card, it will be credited back to your card.

Rental Agreement Terms:
Your rental payment constitutes agreement to all terms as specified.

All of our properties are NO SMOKING and NO PET resorts. Also, our property is a family resort and no renters under the age of 25 are allowed (age verification may be required). Guests must follow all resort rules. Management reserves the right to ask guests violating resort rules (including but limited to smoking, pet and age policies) to leave the property, which may result in forfeiture of deposit and/or rental fees.

Damage to our vacation home or removal of any property will result in deductions from your damage deposit to cover replacement and/or repair cost. Guests with damages exceeding deposit amount are subject to additional charges.

Reservation Cancellation Policy: A $300 security deposit is required to hold your reservation.

  If cancellation is more than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date, $100.00 of your deposit will be retained.
  If cancellation is 8 to 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date, 25% of
rental fee will be retained.
  If cancellation is 7 days or less prior to scheduled arrival date, 50% of
rental fee will be retained.
  If we are able to find a replacement booking, we will refund all of your payments.

Hurricane Policy: We will refund the unused portion of your rent during periods of “OFFICIAL MANDATORY HURRICANE EVACUATION” only.  Optional Travel Insurance is available when you book online.
