In this, the twenty-ninth year of the Tournament, it can truly be said that no billfish competition attracts more attention.  The Baypoint Invitational has developed a strong reputation for good sportsmanship, charity, conservation and fellowship.

The Bay Point Invitational is recognized as one of the most prestigious billfish tournaments and made history in 2008 by going full release for all billfish -- a significant change that was embraced by participants and spectators alike.  The returning 40/40 Shootout is a one day event designed specifically for boats up to 40 feet in length.

Emerald Beach Cruizin' Car Show is an annual week-long festival event held at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach.  You can expect to see thousands of unique cars; cool classics, customs, muscle cars, hot rods and trucks.

There couldn't be a more perfect setting for a classic car parade than the emerald green coastline.  In addition to having more than 3,000 cars on display, there will be over 125 top name automotive vendors, as well as a huge swap meet and Auto Auction.  There will be a section specially designed for the ladies featuring crafts, jewelry and more.  The kids will love the fun rides and games in the kiddy area.

This Panama City Beach Triathlon goes the full Iron distance; a 2.4 mile swim,
a 112 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run.  

The Ford Ironman Florida is one of the most well known races on the Ironman circuit, since it has been around for over ten years. 

The Gulf Coast Charity Horse Shows & Music Festival are held the last full weekend in April every year and benefit local charitable organizations in Northwest Florida along with the local economy.

The shows bring approximately 25,000 or more people to Northwest Florida for the event and up to three days preceding the event.  Horses, owners and trainers come to PCB from all across the nation to compete.

The fourth of July is a fabulous time to visit Panama City Beach.  It is one of the most popular weeks of the whole year with tourists.  Pier Park hosts an annual Star Spangled Spectacular Celebration from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.  You'll find such a variety of entertainment, including music, a fun zone for the kids and lots of great food and drinks.  Pier Park knows how to throw a party!
